Program Overview
Students learn skills such as the service, repair, and overhaul of two-stroke and four-stroke outboard motors, jet propulsion units, and advanced marine power plants. This includes mastering electrical ignition systems, fuel systems, and lubrication cycles, as well as performing complex diagnostics and repairs on power heads, drive systems, and boat and trailer rigging.
Additional training includes the installation of boating accessories, fiberglass structural repair, and the use of specialized marine diagnostic equipment. This program stresses safe and efficient work practices, Florida marine industry standards, and the related physics, thermodynamics, and electrical theory involved in the development of skills in performing technical maintenance and repair in the practice of marine service.

- Yamaha Marine Maintenance Industry Certifications (Portable, Mid-Range, Inline, and V-Engine)
- Mercury Marine Fundamentals
- OSHA Forklift Training.
