Program Overview
Students learn skills such as diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and overhauling automotive vehicles, mastering engine repair, braking systems, and suspension and steering mechanics. This includes performing precise maneuvers with the latest technological testing equipment, troubleshooting computerized ignition systems, and servicing sophisticated electronic fuel injection and anti-lock braking systems.
Additional training includes electrical and electronics fundamentals, climate control systems, automatic and manual transmissions, and the underlying principles of shop management and entrepreneurship. This program stresses safety, industry-standard diagnostic protocols, and the related physics, electronics, and mechanical theory involved in the development of skills in performing technical automotive maintenance in the practice of a Master Automotive Service Technician.
